Call for Photo Displays for Annual Meeting

MASP is looking for after-school programs to create a photo display of your program for the meeting. These are photo displays only and can include both or either of photos of your program or photos kids in your program have taken. Both digital photos and print photo displays are welcome. If interested in creating a photo display, please email Mary.

Seeking Nominations for MASP After-School Local Advocate and/or Business Champion Award

The MASP Annual Meeting Planning Committee is seeking nominations to recognize local advocates and businesses for their exemplary work on behalf of after-school programs. MASP will be accepting nominations to be honored with a MASP After-School Champion Award at the 2010 MASP Annual Meeting to be held February 25, 2010 in Lansing, Michigan.  If you would like to nominate someone from your community that has been instrumental in supporting after-school and or been exemplary in helping to raise awareness on the need for and benefits of after-school, please fill out the nomination form and submit it by the January 22, 2010 deadline.  Examples of nominees could include local businesses, school board members, and Superintendents.

 

Selection will be based on the following considerations:

  • Impact on increasing access and improving the quality of after-school.
  • Providing support and resources to after-school in your local community or region.
  • Promote importance of After-School across the state.
  • Policies and financial investments in after-school programs
  • Creation of innovative initiatives that support high-quality after-school programs.
