Model Standards for After-School/Out-of-School time Programs in Michigan (Quality)
Learn about the Model Standards that have been adopted by the Michigan Department of Education to guide after-school and out-of-school time program quality. Receive a CD with the Model Standards and a program self assessment checklist that can be used by all programs to set quality improvement goals.

Building Community Partners for STEM Opportunities (Community Partnership)
Discussion on STEM education partnerships that have been developed through the activities of the National Girls Collaborative Project. Presentation will include an overview of the project, descriptions of specific partnerships that have resulted, information about how partnerships might qualify for mini grants through the project, and demonstration of a few activities that work well in this setting.
