As out-of-school time practitioners it is important to progress professionally in ways that will positively impact the lives of the young people you serve. During this training several steps will be covered that can assist in ensuring this happens. Some of the steps are to set goals, seek professional development opportunities, build a professional network, reflect on your practice, engage in ongoing learning, seek leadership opportunities, collaborate and share knowledge, embrace feedback and evaluation, and to stay passionate and committed.
