Michigan’s statewide Quality Recognition and Improvement System (QRIS) includes 10 Great Start to Quality Resource Centers who support programs, providers, and families in the field of child care and school-age OST programming. Resource Center staff are uniquely positioned to support OST programs enrolled in the QRIS and this PLC will provide opportunities for Resource Center staff to discuss, troubleshoot, and explore school-age OST program quality.

Each 1-hour session will include opportunities for participants to interact with peers and discuss quality practices in their roles. Participants may attend as many of the PLC sessions as their schedule allows. These conversations are designed for Resource Center staff and those individuals supporting programs enrolled in Michigan’s School-Age QRIS. Program providers and direct service staff will find the Staff Practices and Organizational Practices PLCs to be better suited to their roles.
